"Shannon successfully facilitated several department initiatives: performance improvement, hospital staff education, strategic planning, problem identification, and job satisfaction. Shannon brought great listening skills, an understanding of systems, enthusiasm, and commitment to my project. She identified the most influential and resistant staff in focus groups, which were highly successful in identifying areas of concern as well as providing a forum for candid discussion. Staff expressed appreciation for being heard and commented on how quickly Shannon grasped their concerns and gave excellent feedback. Some felt hopeful that they could possibly change hospital culture. She consulted with me on areas of consensus building, relationship management, and culture change. Shannon developed a Phase 3 plan which addressed all issues and was implemented successfully rather quickly. Staff reports that they feel empowered, valued, more effective. She is extremely bright, skilled interpersonally. Outcomes were improved morale, collaboration, and productivity."
